Day of Halloween fun on South Street with a candy crawl, costume parade, trunk-or-treat, Halloween at Headhouse and a midnight Rocky Horror screening.
Halloween on South Street takes over the South Street District on Saturday, October 31, running from 12 PM to 11:55 PM. It's a full day of Halloween activities across the neighborhood, so you can drop in for one thing or spend the whole day moving from one to the next.
The daytime is built for families. The Candy Crawl runs from 12 PM to 5 PM, and at 1 PM, the Halloween Costume Promenade and Vintage Car Parade kicks off at 5th and South, running until 1:30 PM. Right after that, the Trunk-or-Treat moves to Headhouse Plaza from 1:30 PM to 4 PM.
As the afternoon turns to evening, the focus shifts. The SHCA's Halloween at Headhouse runs from 4 PM to 8 PM, and Boos & Brews takes over the district's bars and restaurants from 5 PM until they close. If you're staying out late, there's a midnight screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show at the TLA to cap the night.

Between the Candy Crawl starting at noon and the movie starting at midnight, the whole day is covered. You can do the family-friendly stuff early and the bars and cinema later, or just pick the few parts that work for you.
