Halloween Drag Brunch

National Mechanics hosts a Halloween Drag Brunch on Sunday, October 18, in Old City. It's part of the Drag Shows collection from Henn House Events, and the whole thing is built around the holiday: the organizers describe it as a spooktacular afternoon where drag queens serve tricks, treats and drinks, with food and specialty drinks on hand throughout. Costumes are highly encouraged, so it's the kind of thing that works better if you actually dress up for it.

Jenny Henny and Yari host the afternoon, and Starla Moore and Marlowe Le Fry are the performers on the bill. The show runs from 1 PM to 3 PM, so you've got a couple of hours of drag to work through while you eat and drink. It's an 18+ event, which means you can bring along a group of friends without worrying about kids in the mix.

National Mechanics is at 22 South 3rd Street #24 in Old City, and the doors open at 12 PM, a full hour before the show starts at 1 PM. That gives you plenty of time to get settled, grab a drink, and maybe a bite to eat before the queens take the stage. Tickets are $17.85.
