A free DIY costume workshop with access to 3D printing and laser-cutting tools at the STEM makerspace Coco Academy.
Coco Academy is hosting a Halloween Costume-Making Party on Saturday, October 17, from 3 to 5 PM. It's a free DIY workshop where you can spend the afternoon building your own costume, and the big draw is the gear: you get access to the studio's full range of tools, including 3D printers and laser cutters. If you've ever wanted to try those without buying your own, this is a good way to do it.
Coco Academy is a STEM makerspace in Queen Village, and it's a Best of Philly winner, so the hands-on making is exactly what they do. The party is part of a month-long Halloween celebration for kids across the city, which runs throughout October. The costume-making session is one of the stops along the way, and since it's free, it's an easy one to drop into.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Philadelphia and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
