Seasonal party at the Nicetown-Tioga Library with a spooky movie, pumpkin and cookie decorating, games, crafts and candy.
Nicetown-Tioga Library is hosting a Halloween and Harvest Party on Friday, October 23, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM. It's a late-afternoon session, so it works as a way to kick off the weekend rather than a late-night thing. The library is at 3720 North Broad Street, right at the corner of Broad and Erie, in the Nicetown-Tioga neighborhood of Philadelphia.
The afternoon is built around a few different activities running together. There's a spooky movie to watch, and two decorating stations—one for pumpkins and one for cookies—so you can work on both at the same time. There are also games and crafts to keep things moving between the movie and the decorating, and candy is part of the mix. It's the kind of setup where you can hang out and do one thing or drift through a few different activities over the two hours.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Philadelphia and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Since it's a library event, it's a low-pressure way to get into the season without having to organize your own party. You can bring the kids and spend the afternoon decorating and watching a movie, or just stop in for a bit. The whole thing runs from 3:30 to 5:30 PM on Friday, October 23, at the Nicetown-Tioga Library, 3720 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
