Interactive community art show with local artists, live DJ and food truck at Our House Culture Center on Germantown Avenue.
Germantown Art & Sound returns to Our House Culture Center on Friday, October 23, from 7 PM to 10 PM. It's an interactive community art show in the heart of Germantown, and this one follows the same format that's become its hallmark: local artists showing their work, a live DJ on the decks, complimentary wine, and a food truck parked outside. It's the kind of night where you can wander through the art, grab a drink, and hang out without having to rush off to a second location.
This isn't a new thing. The initiative has been running since 2019, and its whole point is to create space for emerging artists and bring people together around live music and art. Over the years, it's built a following that supports local creators, and this edition keeps that same focus on the artists working right here in the neighborhood. The interactive side means you're not just standing back and looking—you're part of the room.

It's hosted at Our House Culture Center, located at 6380 Germantown Avenue in Philadelphia. The show runs from 7 PM to 10 PM, so you've got three hours to work your way through the art and the music. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite, and they're non-refundable, so keep that in mind before you buy. Between the DJ, the wine, and the food truck, it's set up as a full evening rather than a quick stop.
