Free Halloween street festival with live music, drink specials, local vendors, food trucks and family photo opportunities on Frankford Avenue.
Philadelphia Brewing Company is hosting Fright Fest on Frankford Ave on Sunday, October 25, from 11 AM to 5 PM. It's a free Halloween street festival, so you can just show up and hang out without needing a ticket or a reservation.
The music is a big part of the day: live bands will be playing throughout the afternoon, and the brewery is running drink specials, so you've got a soundtrack and something to sip on while you're there. There will be local vendors set up and food trucks on hand, which means you can browse a few different booths and grab lunch or a snack without having to leave the block. If you're bringing the kids, they've set up family photo opportunities, so it works as a spot to get a few Halloween pictures before the actual holiday hits.

It's a daytime thing, which is a nice change from the usual late-night Halloween crowd. You can spend a couple of hours or stay for the whole run, and since it's on the street, it's easy to drift in and out. The whole thing is completely free to attend, and it runs from 11 AM to 5 PM on Sunday, October 25, at Philadelphia Brewing Company, 2440 Frankford Avenue.
