Annual festival at Love City Brewing with fire performance, beer flips, spicy bites, and s'mores in the outdoor garden.
Love City Brewing is bringing back Fire & Spice, its annual autumn festival, to Love City Gardens on Saturday, October 17. The party runs from 4 PM to 10 PM, and the main event is a fire performance by Margo x Marz at 7 PM.
Love City Gardens is the outdoor beer garden across the street from the brewery's Callowhill location at 1023 Hamilton Street, just north of Chinatown and a few steps from Rail Park. The brewery itself is housed in a former rail-parts factory with soaring industrial windows and a large open taproom, and the garden is where the festival takes place. The whole night is built around fire pits: you can roast s'mores over the coals, try a beer flip—made by plunging a red-hot poker into a cold beer for a caramelized, toasty finish—and sample pay-as-you-go spicy bites. The beer is brewed on-site, and the Viva Pizza food truck will be there for anyone who wants a full meal.

It's a free-to-get-in event, so you can just show up and pay as you go for drinks, food, and extras. The session is for over-21s only, and anyone under 21 has to be with a parent or guardian. With the fire performance at 7 PM, you've got a few hours on either side to hang out, grab a drink, and roast some s'mores before and after the show.
