Family storytime with stories, songs, puppets and playtime for babies, toddlers and their families at Bustleton Library.
Family Storytime is back at Bustleton Library on Tuesday, October 27, at 11:30 AM. It's part of the Free Library of Philadelphia's Family Programs and Storytimes series, which runs across the city's branches. The whole thing is built for the youngest readers and their families or caregivers, so it's a baby, toddler, and older sibling affair.
The session itself is a mix of stories, songs, and interactive activities. You'll find puppets, rhythms, and plenty of laughter, and the playtime starts immediately after the storytime part wraps up. It's designed to build early literacy, so it's as much about getting kids comfortable with books as it is about the singing and playing.
