FAM Session 4: Club Music

FAM Session 4: Club Music lands at the Indy Hall Clubhouse on Thursday, October 15, from 6 PM to 8 PM. It's the fourth installment in the FAM series presented by FamFrequency Productions, and this one centers on club music. The lineup brings together DJ Traps N Trees, DJ Reezey, TAH, and DJ Ducky Dynamo, four selectors who'll be taking turns behind the decks throughout the night.

Rather than just a string of DJ sets, the session frames club music across Baltimore, Jersey, and Philly as "a conversation on the records, the dances, the parties, the history." That description gives you a good sense of where the night is coming from: it's as much about the regional lineage of the sound—the specific records and dance floors that shaped the Mid-Atlantic club scene—as it is about the music itself. With four DJs in the mix, the conversation moves through different hands over the course of the evening.
