Autumn evening at Historic RittenhouseTown with pumpkin picking and painting, s'mores, games and three costume contests for kids, adults and pets.
Historic RittenhouseTown is kicking off the fall season with FallFest on Friday, October 23, from 6 PM to 8 PM. It's an all-ages evening, so you can bring the kids or just show up yourself. The night is built around a few autumn staples: there's a pumpkin patch for picking your own, pumpkin painting to follow, s'mores, and games to keep things moving.
The costume contests are the main event. There are three separate categories—one for kids, one for adults, and one for pets—so you can enter on your own or bring the dog along in something ridiculous. The winners are announced at 7 PM, right in the middle of the two-hour window, which gives you plenty of time to get your pumpkin picked and painted before the judging starts.
