A family-friendly day of outdoor autumn festivities with crafts, music, games, story times and mini cemetery tours.
Laurel Hill Cemetery is hosting Fall Fun Day on Sunday, October 18, from 11 AM to 3 PM. It's a free, family-friendly afternoon that turns the cemetery into an open-air venue for a few hours, with activities aimed at all ages and costumes encouraged.
The day mixes autumn crafts and children's music with a scavenger hunt, games, prizes, story times, and mini cemetery tours. The crafts and music run alongside the more active stuff, so you can drift between the tables and the games as you like. The scavenger hunt and the tours give you a reason to actually move through the grounds, and the story times are set up for the younger crowd. It's the kind of afternoon where you can spend as much or as little time as you want, and the costumes are a welcome part of it.
