Free night market with local creative vendors, live music by Julius Masri, Aaron Pond and DM Hotep, and hands-on art activities.
DVAA Collective Market takes over Passyunk between South and Bainbridge on Friday, October 23, from 6 PM to 10 PM. It's a night market produced by the Da Vinci Art Alliance (DVAA) alongside the South Street Headhouse District and other neighborhood partners, and it's free to attend.
The Collective Market is part art market, part block party, and part mutual-aid hub, and it's built around the local creative community. Artists and makers get low-cost, accessible space to sell their work, cultural organizations and community groups find new audiences, and local businesses get the spotlight. Each edition mixes local creative vendors, live performances, hands-on art activities, and community resources, so it's as much about the people as it is about the things for sale.

On the music side, Julius Masri, Aaron Pond, and DM Hotep play at 6 PM, with Masri on drums and electronics. The market runs until 10 PM, so you can catch the set and then spend the rest of the evening browsing the vendors and checking out the art activities. The whole thing is free, and it's located at 615 Passyunk Ave in the South Street neighborhood.
