A live conversation between journalist Don Lemon and comedian DL Hughley, presented by Ensemble Arts Philly.
Don Lemon and DL Hughley take the stage at the Miller Theater on Friday, October 16, for a live conversation billed as DL + DL: Anything Goes. It's presented by Ensemble Arts Philly in association with Outback Presents, and the two of them are the only ones on the bill.
On one side is Lemon, an award-winning journalist and former anchor of CNN's Don Lemon Tonight and CNN This Morning, with an Edward R. Murrow, multiple Emmys, and a Peabody to his name. He now hosts The Don Lemon Show and has written two books, the bestseller Transparent and This Is the Fire: What I Say to My Friends About Racism.
On the other is Hughley, one of the original Kings of Comedy. He's built his career across stand-up, television, radio, podcasting, and publishing: he hosts the syndicated The DL Hughley Show and the podcast Uncertain with DL Hughley, has written five political humor books, including two New York Times bestsellers, and starred in the comedy tour and docu-film The Original Kings of Comedy. His Comedy Central special DL Hughley: The Endangered List won a George Foster Peabody Award, and he's produced specials for Netflix, Showtime, and HBO.

The evening is billed as a live conversation between the two of them, so that's what you're gettingβno guest appearances or opening acts, just Lemon and Hughley talking on stage. It starts at 7 PM at the Miller Theater, 250 S. Broad St., and runs for two hours with no intermission.
