Farideh Sadeghin brings her new book to Jet Wine Bar on Friday, October 30, for a guided cheese and wine tasting. It's part of the 2026 Cookbooks & Convos festival put on by the Sisterly Love Collective, and the whole night is built around her book, Cheesy: 50 Boards & Recipes. The range in there is wide—it goes from fondue and poutine to grilled cheese and cheesecake, so there's plenty of ground to cover.
Sadeghin is a chef, a video host, and a member of the Sisterly Love Collective. She's also a former VICE Munchies host and SAVEUR test kitchen director, and she'll be signing copies of the book throughout the evening. While she handles the signing, Julia Fox-Birnbaum, founder of the Philly Cheese School, leads the tasting course by course. The four cheese bites are curated by Third Wheel Cheese and the Philly Cheese School, paired with wines selected by Jet Wine Bar. The bar's owner, Jill Weber, was named Best of Philly 2026 for Wine Tasting for her quirky tasting series, so the pairings are in good hands.

There are two seatings: 6:00–7:30 PM and 8:00–9:30 PM. Tickets are $90 per person, which covers the four cheese bites, the four wine pairings, and a signed copy of the book. The tasting is at Jet Wine Bar, 1525 South Street, in Philadelphia.
