A day of free neighborhood fun with live comedy, community service, creative activities, and local food.
The Comic Relief Neighborhood Festival comes to Philadelphia on Saturday, October 24, and it's a free day of comedy and community service. The main draw is the live comedy, but the festival is built around giving back to the neighborhood as much as it is about the laughs.
Between sets, you can pack care kits for local kids and teens, and there's a drive for coats and cold-weather gear, so it's a good time to clear out the winter clothes you've outgrown and bring them along. The food comes from local favorites, and the whole thing is free to attend.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Philadelphia and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

It's a full day of neighborhood fun, with the comedy as the center and the community work running alongside it. If you're around Philadelphia on October 24, it's a low-stakes way to spend a Saturday and do something for the city at the same time. Admission is free.
