Halloween-themed pumpkin patch experience with pumpkin smashing, carnival games and spooky backdrops on the Liberty Point rooftop.
Cityside Pumpkin Patch is back at Liberty Point at Penn's Landing, running from October 3 through November 2. It's a rooftop Halloween experience on the Delaware River waterfront, and this year the pumpkins are locally sourced. The whole thing is built as an urban alternative to driving out to a farm—you get the pumpkin patch without leaving the city.
Inside, the rooftop has been turned into a Halloween-themed space with a few different things to do. There's pumpkin smashing, carnival games, and spooky backdrops for photos. It's set up to work for families, but there's a more grown-up side to it too, with fall cocktails and seasonal treats available throughout the run. If you're going with kids, keep in mind that anyone under 21 has to be with a parent or guardian and needs to be out by 10 PM. Pets aren't allowed.

Logistically, it runs daily, generally between noon and 10 PM. You book a two-hour window rather than just showing up whenever you like, and entry begins 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. Tickets start at $13.90, and children ages 3 and older need their own ticket. You'll find it at Liberty Point at Penn's Landing, 211 S. Christopher Columbus Blvd., Philadelphia, PA 19106.
