Monthly book club discussion of the memoir 'Life' by Keith Richards at the Fumo Family Library branch.
Fumo Family Library is hosting its Celebrity Memoir Book Club on Tuesday, October 27, with Keith Richards' memoir Life as the focus. It's a casual group discussion around the book, part of a series that meets on the fourth Tuesday of every month. If you've been reading through it on your own, this is the night to talk it out with other people who have.
Life is a massive book, and Richards doesn't hold back. It's his account of a long career with the Rolling Stones, the chaos of the band's peak years, and the personal wreckage and survival that came along with it. It's the kind of memoir that gives you a lot to chew onβthe music, the friendships, the excesses, and the way he looks back on it all decades later. A book club is a good way to work through a read like that, especially one that covers so much ground.

The discussion takes place at the Fumo Family Library Branch, 2437 South Broad Street, at the corner of Porter and Broad in South Philly. It starts at 5:30 PM, so you can drop in after work and be home for dinner. Since it's a casual book club, you don't need to have every page memorized to join inβjust bring your copy of Life and whatever thoughts you've gathered while reading it. The session is open to anyone who wants to talk through the book, and it's free to attend.
