Family storytime with campfire stories and forest activities and treats for all ages at the Logan Library.
Campfire Stories for Little Explorers comes to Logan Library on Monday, October 26, at 4:30 PM. It's a family storytime that brings the outdoors inside, with forest activities and campfire stories for all ages. If you've got little ones at home, it's one of those easy weekday afternoons where you can just show up and let them run with it.
The stories are the center of the thing, but there's more to it than just sitting and listening. The forest activities are built in, so the kids get to move and do something rather than just stay put. And there are treats for everyone, too, which is always the part the kids remember most. It's designed for all ages, so if you're bringing a toddler and a grade-schooler together, it should work for both.
Logan Library is part of the Free Library of Philadelphia, so it's right in the city. The 4:30 PM start makes it a good late-afternoon thing to hit before the dinner rush, and since it's a Monday, it's a low-pressure way to start the week. It's a family program, so you're welcome to bring the whole crew along.
