Jet Wine Bar is bringing back its annual all-sparkling wine tasting on Wednesday, December 16, under the title Bring on the Fireworks: bubbles that really pop. It's exactly what it sounds like: a night dedicated to sparkling wine, with a selection of fine fizz and bubbly pairings to go with it. If you've spent your usual wine nights on the still side of things, this is a good chance to see how wide the sparkling world actually goes.
The tasting is led by Jill Weber, the archaeologist who owns the bar and runs many of its tastings herself. She's also the force behind Dinosaur Fest, where she goes by the derby name 'Jurassic Cork'. That quirky streak carries over into her tasting series, which earned the bar a Best of Philly 2026 for Wine Tasting. This particular event is the venue's annual all-sparkling tasting, so it's the one night of the year when everything on the table has bubbles.
