Free interactive workshop by the Free Library's BRIC on building an authentic personal brand across social media, aimed at adults and seniors.
Brand You: How to Stand Up and Show Up with Purpose Online comes to the Northeast Regional Library on Tuesday, October 20, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM. It's a personal branding workshop run by the Free Library's Business Resource and Innovation Center (BRIC), and it's part of the library's Community Impact Week.
The session frames a personal brand as your digital first impression: what people think, feel, and say about you when you're not in the room or off the screen. It's an interactive workshop, so you'll be doing more than just listening—the goal is to help you find your own voice and build an authentic personal brand across social media. It's aimed at adults and seniors, so it's a good fit whether you're just starting to put yourself out there or you've been online for years and want to tighten up how you're coming across.
BRIC is the team behind it, and they do a lot more than this one session. They support professionals across Greater Philadelphia with free and low-cost workshops, electronic and video resources, and a print collection that covers business planning, marketing, accounting, advertising, and website building. If you're working on a side project or a full-time career, that's a useful set of tools to have in your back pocket.
