Stand-up comedy show by Seattle comedian Brad Upton, known for his clean, observational humor and Dry Bar Comedy specials.
Brad Upton is playing Helium Comedy Club on Sunday, October 18, with the show starting at 4 PM. He's a Seattle-based stand-up known for clean, observational humorβthe kind of set you can bring your parents to without worrying about where the jokes are headed.
If you haven't come across him yet, you've probably seen him on Dry Bar Comedy. His specials there have racked up hundreds of millions of views, making him the platform's most popular act. Before that, he spent thirteen years as the opening act for Johnny Mathis and toured with the late Joan Rivers. He's also a past winner of the Las Vegas Comedy Festival. The Seattle Times put it pretty well: he's mastered "the nearly impossible task of appealing to people from the ages of 18 to 80."

That wide appeal is a good thing to keep in mind when you're figuring out who to bring. Since it's clean comedy, it's an easy one for a multi-generational group. The show is 21+, though 18+ is fine if you're accompanied by a parent or legal guardian over 30. Just a heads-up that all sales are final, so you'll want to be sure about your plans before you pull the trigger on tickets. Helium is at 2031 Sansom St, right in the heart of Center City, and the show kicks off at 4 PM on Sunday, October 18.
