Botanical Mixology: Sunset Horticulture Happy Hour

Botanical Mixology: Sunset Horticulture Happy Hour is at the Morris Arboretum & Gardens Visitor Center on Sunday, October 25, starting at 5 PM. It's a session that pairs botany with mixology, and you'll get to taste the cocktails as part of the evening. The whole thing is held at the Arboretum's visitor center in Philadelphia.

The happy hour falls during the Arboretum's 'ArBOOretum Month,' a month-long celebration of fall that runs from October 1 to 31. Throughout the month, the grounds are filled with autumn foliage and seasonal activities for the whole family, all included with general admission. Two of the month's highlights are the 19th Annual Scarecrow Walk, on display from October 1 to November 1, and the Morris Pumpkin Cottage, a 100-square-foot exhibition covered in hundreds of pumpkins tucked at the end of the Pumpkin Promenade.

For the Scarecrow Walk, visitors vote between October 1 and 18, with cash prizes of $300, $200, and $100 awarded to the winners. If you're planning to head over for the mixology session, you can easily fit the walk and the pumpkin cottage into the same trip. The happy hour itself is $60 for members and $65 for non-members, and it kicks off at 5 PM on Sunday, October 25.
