Free last day of the season at the South Philadelphia rooftop bar and kitchen, as it closes for the winter.
Bok Bar is closing its rooftop for the season on Sunday, November 1, and they're keeping the bar and kitchen open to the neighborhood for one last afternoon. It's the final day of the 2026 season, the point where the venue says goodnight to the roof before the winter sets in. If you've spent any time up there this year, this is the one to catch before the cold weather shuts it down.
For those who haven't been, Bok Bar is the rooftop bar and kitchen in South Philadelphia, one of the venues inside the Bok Building. The building itself is a hub for the neighborhood, and it also houses a high school for Bok Tech alumni. The bar sits on top of it all, and this particular day is when the rooftop goes dark for the winter. The bar and kitchen stay open throughout the afternoon, so you can grab a drink and some food and hang out on the roof one more time before the season wraps.
It's a straightforward send-off: the kitchen is running, the bar is pouring, and the rooftop is open for the neighborhood to come through. Since it's the last day of the year, it's as much about saying goodbye to the space as it is about getting one last rooftop session in before the weather turns. If you've been meaning to make it up there this season, this is your final chance.
