Third session of a three-part series on Judaism taught by the rabbis of Kol Tzedek at Parkway Central Library.
An Introduction to Judaism returns to Parkway Central Library on Thursday, October 29, at 2:00 PM. This is the third and final session of a three-part series offered by Kol Tzedek, a synagogue in West Philadelphia whose rabbis lead the workshops. The series is open to everyone interested in the tradition: beginner practitioners, people returning to the religion, and those who are simply curious.
Across the three parts, the focus has been on Shabbat, Jewish holidays, and the Divine. This final session brings the series to a close, so if you've been following along since the first one, this is where it all comes together. If you're just now jumping in, it's still a good place to start—the rabbis lead the sessions, and the whole thing is designed to be accessible regardless of where you're coming from.
