Immersive live production tribute to The Rocky Horror Picture Show with drag, burlesque, aerial and fire performances at Fabrika.
Fabrika is bringing The Rocky Horror Picture Show back to Philadelphia this October, and it's not a screening. This is their third year doing it as a fully immersive live production, which means instead of sitting in the dark watching a movie, you're watching the story played out on stage. The production reimagines the cult classic with drag, burlesque, aerial artistry, fire, and dancing, all staged by some of the city's drag, burlesque, aerial, and fire performers. The show's catchphrase, "Don't dream it. Be it," is an open invitation to dress up and bring your own creatures of the night.
Fabrika itself is Philadelphia's first fully immersive dinner theater, run by a collective of artists and built around a 360-degree hydraulic stage with aerial rigs and an industrial-chic, multi-level design in the heart of Fishtown. It's been open for ten years, hosting over 200 events and welcoming more than 50,000 guests. After the show, you can keep the night going at Margolis Lounge with live music and cocktails or head over to The Patio Fishtown.
