The 198th Philadelphia Flower Show, with the theme ICONIC, brings floral sculptures, hanging structures and bouquets to the Pennsylvania Convention Center.
The Philadelphia Flower Show returns to the Pennsylvania Convention Center from March 13 to 21, 2027. This year's theme is ICONIC, and it's a big one: the 198th show and the 200th anniversary of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the organization that runs it. PHS President Matt Rader says the theme grew from the idea that gardening is a timeless practice whose elements stay evergreen and above trend, and that over two centuries the show has used gardening to create healthier, more beautiful, and more connected places. ICONIC celebrates how gardening has left its mark on art, design, fashion, food, architecture, literature, and film.
Inside, you'll find a PHS-designed Entrance Garden and the Pennsylvania Public Gardens Showcase, featuring Chanticleer Garden, Longwood Gardens, Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Pittsburgh Botanic Garden, and The Arboretum at Penn State. Beyond those, there are more than 30 large-scale exhibits and thousands of plants and botanical art pieces. It's not just about walking through gardens, either: there's the signature after-hours party, Flowers After Hours: Stylin' & Wildin', botanical art and exhibiting competitions, a speaker series led by gardening experts, a plant marketplace, and a children's zone with hands-on botanical activities.
If you're a PHS member, you get a head start with a Members' Preview Day on Friday, March 12, from 12 PM to 4 PM. The public hours run March 13 to 20 from 10 AM to 8 PM, and March 21 from 10 AM to 6 PM. PHS Activist-level or higher members get in free.
