A celebration of Asian American artistry with live entertainment, bars, food stations, and pop-up performances, raising funds for the foundation's educational mission.
The Barnes Foundation hosts the 2026 Barnes Art Ball on Friday, October 16, at 2025 Benjamin Franklin Parkway. It's a campus-wide benefit that brings together collectors, connectors and cultural tastemakers for one night in Philadelphia. The evening is hosted by Trustee Chairs John Aglialoro and Joan Carter, with live entertainment and pop-up performances scattered throughout.
Following foundation tradition, the ball takes its cue from the museum's fall exhibition. This year it's Noguchi to Asawa: Designing Postwar America, a show that looks at postwar art and design through two generations of Japanese American artists working from the late 1930s to the late 1960s. The exhibition runs until January 10, 2027, so you'll have plenty of time to go back and see it on your own after the party.
Guests get access to the permanent collection and the special exhibition galleries, with multiple bars and food stations set up across the campus. The night raises funds for the foundation's educational mission, exhibition program, collection care and artistic and scholarly projects. The dress code is artful, creative, chic cocktail.
