Halloween-themed crawl with seasonal drinks, crafts and charms at more than 30 bars, restaurants and shops along East Passyunk Avenue.
The 17th Annual Witch Craft Crawl takes over East Passyunk Avenue on Wednesday, October 28, from 6 PM to 10 PM. It's one of the Halloween programs put on by the East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District, and it's built around the neighborhood's bars, restaurants, and shops. More than 30 establishments join in, each offering seasonal special brews and cocktails along with crafts and charms.
Your ticket gets you those specials at the participating spots, a choice of a witch hat or a light necklace while supplies last, and a stamp card. If you collect three or more stamps, you're entered into a drawing for East Passyunk merchandise. Once your card is full, you drop it in the BID office mail slot or at Latchkey Records. If you show up late, you can still crawl by showing your ticket at the bar.
It's part of a larger Halloween run on the Avenue. There are the Creepy Crawly craft happy hours at Cantina Los Caballitos and the Fall Fest block party, which brings together more than 80 vendors. The crawl is the one that spreads across the whole stretch of businesses.
