Outdoor Indigenous Peoples Day celebration with live performances, vendors, workshops and the Meeting of the Eagle and the Condor Indigenous Art Exhibition at Bartram's Garden.
Bartram's Garden hosts the 16th Annual Philadelphia Indigenous People's Day Celebration on Sunday, October 18, from 12 PM to 5 PM. It's an outdoor day in the riverfront botanical gardens, and it's free to attend.
The celebration is built in collaboration with Ollin Yoliztli Calmecac, a local nonprofit dedicated to celebrating and preserving Indigenous American cultures. The garden itself sits in what was Lenapehoking, the ancestral homeland of the Lenni-Lenape people, and the day fills the grounds with live performances, vendors, and workshops. The 2026 edition adds a new piece to that mix: the Meeting of the Eagle and the Condor Indigenous Art Exhibition, which features work from Indigenous artists.
