Wex Photo Video Nottingham is hosting a macro photography day with OM System on Wednesday 28 October, part of their Wex Sessions in-store workshop series. It's a full day dedicated to close-up work, and the gear on the table is a proper macro kit: the OM SYSTEM 90mm Macro, the 60mm Macro, and the OM-1 Mark II. If you've ever wanted to see how those two lenses compare side by side on the same body, this is a good chance to do it without having to commit to buying either first.
The setup is designed for you to actually use the kit rather than just look at it. There's a dedicated shooting station in the store, so you can spend as much time as you like getting a feel for the different focal lengths and seeing how they handle the same subject. The 90mm gives you a bit more distance, while the 60mm puts you closer in — having both there makes it easy to figure out which one suits your style.
