Late-night rave night at the industrial warehouse Unit 13 in Nottingham, with house, tech, drum & bass and disco.
Unit 13 presents Drop The Pressure at Unit 13 on Saturday 24 October, starting at 22:00 and running through to Sunday morning. It's a night hosted by the venue itself, so the focus is on the space and the music rather than a touring headliner.
If you haven't been, Unit 13 is an industrial basement warehouse on Burton Street, built during the 2021 lockdown and run by ravers for ravers. It opened in September 2021 and is split into several distinct environments. LG1 is the main room, where you'll find house, tech, drum & bass and disco. LG2 is dedicated to R&B and hip hop, while the Secret Disco Project handles the disco classics and The Afters looks back at nostalgia. It's a venue that lets you move between rooms depending on what you're in the mood for, rather than sticking to one sound all night.

Since it opened, the place has hosted Chase & Status, Gorgon City, Sub Focus, Jax Jones, Shy FX, Kettama, Ben Hemsley, Charlie Hedges and Wilkinson, and it went through a round of upgrades over the summer recess. Drop The Pressure fits right into that mix: a basement warehouse night in the city centre, with the music spread across the different rooms. It starts at 22:00 on Saturday 24 October and runs into Sunday morning, so there's plenty of room to wander between the main room, the R&B and hip hop of LG2, the disco classics in the Secret Disco Project and the nostalgia of The Afters. Tickets are £5 to £11.50.
