Club night of house, tech, drum & bass and disco at the industrial warehouse venue Unit 13 in Nottingham.
Drop The Pressure is at Unit 13 on Saturday 5 December, running from 10:00pm to 3:30am. It's a music night in the basement on Burton Street, right in the city centre.
If you haven't been to Unit 13 before, it's an industrial basement warehouse that opened in September 2021, built during the lockdown and run by ravers. The place is split into several distinct environments. LG1 is the main room, a multi-tiered auditorium that plays house, tech, drum & bass and disco, with a Funktion-One sound system. LG2 is dedicated to R&B and hip hop, and the Secret Disco Project is built for disco classics. Then there's The Afters, a room leaning into nostalgia, with one part themed as a 90s apartment featuring a caged DJ booth and a central modular stage backed by an immersive LED wall.
Since it opened, the venue has hosted a long list of names: Chase & Status, Gorgon City, Sub Focus, Jax Jones, Shy FX, Ben Hemsley, Charlie Hedges, Eats Everything, Sammy Virji and Wilkinson. It's a proper raver's spot, and this night fits right into that tradition.
