UB40 feat Ali Campbell

UB40 featuring Ali Campbell play the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham on Monday 30 November, part of the BIG LOVE TOUR. It's a Nottingham date on a wider run, with the show starting at 20:00 and doors opening an hour before at 19:00.

Ali Campbell is the singer and guitarist whose voice powered UB40 to 70 million record sales and more than fifty UK chart hits. His history with the band goes back 45 years to his formative years in inner-city Birmingham, and he's the one who fronted the group through their most well-known period. The touring ensemble he's working with now is described as the most authentic realisation of UB40's original aim of advancing reggae in all its guises, so the set should lean into that sound.

It's a Monday night, which is a bit of a change from the usual weekend slot, but it's the one Nottingham date on the tour. If you've got the night free, it's a chance to hear those songs live in the city. Doors open at 19:00, and the show kicks off at 20:00.
