Student night with 2-4-1 drinks across six bars and three rooms at Rock City, including a silent disco in the Beta room.
Tuned takes over Rock City on Thursday 5 November, part of the student night that runs every Thursday at the venue. It's a big one, with 2-4-1 drinks all night across six bars and three rooms, so you've got plenty of options for where to settle in.
The night is split by sound, and that's the best way to get a handle on it. The Main Hall is the big room, with a capacity of around 2,000, so that's where you'll find the bulk of the crowd. The Black Cherry Lounge is the home of hip-hop, rap and grime, and Beta is billed as Nottingham's loudest silent disco. Between the three, you can switch rooms and styles as the night goes on, and the 2-4-1 drinks run all night long, so you're not tied to one spot.
Rock City itself is a proper Nottingham institution, named Best Live Music Venue at the Nottingham Bar and Club Awards. It's built for this kind of thing, with lasers, smoke machines, CO2, LED screens, a £1,000,000 lighting rig and confetti cannons to keep the energy up. It's a venue that knows how to handle a crowd, and on a night like this, it'll be working hard.

It runs from 10:00pm to 3:00am, with last entry at 2:00am, so you've got a good window to get in and settle in. Entry is restricted to over-18s, and tickets range from free to £6. If you're planning on staying late, just keep that 2:00am cutoff in mind.
