Live show by Tony Wright, frontman of Terrorvision and Laika Dog, at the George Street Working Mens Club in Hucknall.
Tony Wright plays the George Street Working Mens Club in Hucknall on Wednesday 9 December, with the show starting at 19:00. It's a solo night, so it's just him on stage rather than a full band.
If the name doesn't ring a bell, it's because you've likely known him as a frontman. He's the voice of Terrorvision, the rock band that hit the charts in the nineties, and he's also fronted Laika Dog. This is a different side of things, though — Wright stepping out from behind the band to do his own thing.
He's been working as a solo artist for a while now, having released his first solo album, Thoughts 'n' All, back in 2014. That record gave him a chance to step away from the band format and put his own songs out under his own name, and this show follows that same solo thread. It's a good way to hear him without the full band around him.
