The Small Biz Xmas Shindig 2026

The Small Biz Xmas Shindig is coming to Fellows Morton & Clayton on Thursday 10 December, from 7:30 PM. It's the Christmas party hosted by The Business Social, and it's built for business owners, freelancers, directors, founders, solopreneurs and small teams. If you're running your own thing, it's a night to step away from the desk and spend a few hours with people who get the same grind.

The whole thing started with Gemma, the founder of The Business Social. After leaving her job, she realised she'd no longer get a Christmas party, so she decided to make one for everyone to enjoy. She describes it as a festive evening to let your hair down and celebrate with peers, connections and clients. It's not a formal networking event with name tags and forced introductions; it's a party, and the focus is on the social side of things.

On the night, you'll get a welcome glass of fizz on arrival to kick things off, followed by a hot buffet to keep you going. There's live music and a DJ, so the evening runs from the first drink through to the dancefloor. It's a four-hour affair, starting at 7:30 PM, which gives you plenty of time to catch up with people without having to rush off.

Tickets start from £38.62, and the organisers note that the party is tax-deductible. You'll need to register with The Business Social to attend, so it's worth sorting that out before you head down to Fellows Morton & Clayton on Canal Street.
