Concert by The Enchanted Voices of songs from animated films such as Frozen, Wicked and The Lion King, plus pop hits by Taylor Swift and Coldplay.
The Enchanted Voices are bringing The Princess Proms to the Royal Concert Hall on Monday 26 October, a matinee that runs from 1.30pm. It's a concert built around the songs of animated films, with the group performing music from Frozen, Wicked, Moana, The Wizard of Oz, Beauty & The Beast, Anastasia, Pocahontas, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, The Lion King and Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. That's a long list of soundtracks to work through in one afternoon, so you'll hear a fair bit of ground covered across different eras of animation.
It's not just the film songs, either. The set mixes in music by contemporary pop stars, with Taylor Swift, Coldplay and Rachel Platten on the bill alongside the movie material. The organisers describe the show as a tribute to the iconic, heartwarming and nostalgic songs of animated films played alongside music by modern pop artists, so the two sit side by side rather than one taking over.
As for who's behind it, The Enchanted Voices have performed on the West End, on ITV and for royalty, and they've played to sold-out houses across the country. The organisers do make one point clear: the group and its events aren't affiliated with the films and composers they cover. It's a tribute show, not an official production.

Tickets range from £24.50 to £47.50, and since it's a 1.30pm start at the Royal Concert Hall on Theatre Square, it's a proper matinee — you'll be out well before the evening kicks in.
