The Old Skool UK Garage Day Party

Daytime Disco are bringing their UK Garage Day Party to NG-ONE on Saturday 7 November, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. It's a daytime rave in the city centre, so you're in and out well before midnight.

The afternoon is built around the golden era of UK Garage, with 90s and 00s classics, rolling 2-step rhythms and champagne vocals. That's the sound they're after: the swing and the shuffle of the era when garage was filling dancefloors across the country, rather than anything too new or too far off the original sound. Daytime Disco describe their formula as recapturing the energy of a packed-out garage rave, but in the afternoon instead of the small hours.

It's an over-18s event, so you'll need a valid photographic ID to get in. If you're heading down with a crowd, there's a group discount for parties of ten or more under the 'Big Group Package'.

Tickets run from £12.50 to £22.50, working on a festival-style model: the earlier you buy, the cheaper they are. The party runs from 3:00pm to 8:00pm, with last entry at 5:00pm, so if you're coming from a bit further out, keep that half-way mark in mind. You'll find NG-ONE at 76-80 Lower Parliament St, Nottingham NG1 1EH.
