A concert in which The Bootleg Beatles recreate seven of the Beatles' most famous live performances.
The Bootleg Beatles play the Royal Concert Hall on Saturday 12 December, bringing their Beatles tribute to the main auditorium in Nottingham. The show is built around seven of the Fab Four's most famous live performances, drawn from their eight-year run and the concerts they played in theatres, stadiums and TV studios. It's a look back at the band as a live act rather than just a run through the studio recordings.
Box-office critic Jeremy Vine called the musicianship 'nothing short of stunning', and that's the core of what they do: recreating the sound and the stage presence of the Beatles' live years. The set is split into two halves, with the first running from 7:30 to 8:30 and the second from 8:50 to 10:05, separated by a 20-minute interval. If you're coming with younger ones, under-14s have to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
There's also a VIP package for £87, which gives you a premium seat, a VIP tote bag, a signed poster print, a special merchandise item, a tour programme and a collectible laminate. That laminate gets you into a private cash bar and a glass of Prosecco on arrival, so it's a good shout if you want to make a proper night of it. Otherwise, tickets run from £38.50 in Tier 2 up to £87.00 in the Stalls.
