Electronic music night at Unit 13, Nottingham's club venue, with guest performers and upgraded festival-standard sound and lighting.
Tempo returns to Unit 13 on Friday 23 October, part of a new season for the Nottingham electronic music venue. It's a night that's been a regular fixture here, and this time it's coming back with a few additions to the room.
Unit 13 opened in 2021 as a dedicated space for electronic music and events, built around a central modular stage, a caged DJ booth, and a Funktion-One sound system in the main room. One of its spaces is themed as a 90s apartment, and for this season, the venue has added festival-standard sound and lighting and a brand-new secret third room. The season also brings a long list of guest performers and collaborations.
To give you an idea of the kind of names that have played through here: Chase & Status, Gorgon City, Sub Focus, Shy FX, Jax Jones, Kettama, Window Kid, Wilkinson, Tita Lau, The Shapeshifters, Interplanetary Criminal, Eats Everything, D.O.D, Ben Hemsley, Ben Snow, Alisha, Arielle Free, Badger, Belters Only, Charlie Tee, Charlie Hedges, Danny Howard, Enzo is Burning, Endor, Franky Wah, Friction, Hannah Laing, L.P Rhythm, Locklead, Mall Grab, Mozey, KMotionz, Notion, Prospa, Oppidan, Mele, Monrroe, Robbie Doherty and Sammy Virji. It's a broad run of drum and bass, house, garage, and techno, so the room tends to pull from a few different corners of the dancefloor.
