Weekly Tuesday club night of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Bashment, Bouyon and French Afro music at the renovated Secret Vault on Talbot Street.
TAKEOFF is back at Secret Vault on Tuesday 20 October, the sixth weekly party in the series. It's a mid-week club night that runs every Tuesday at the newly renovated Secret Vault on Talbot Street, and this one falls on a Tuesday, so it's a proper mid-week one rather than a weekend outing.
The music is the main thing here. The night is billed as the new home of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Bashment, Bouyon and French Afro music, and the organisers describe it as bringing the first FΓͺte de la Musique club vibes to Nottingham. It's a broad mix of sounds from across the African diaspora, and the DJs play new music rather than just the usual hits. Each week has its own theme, and there are tables and prizes in the mix, so it changes slightly from one Tuesday to the next.
If you're following the whole thing, the organisers run the Reuni app for safe ticket resale, and they post updates on Instagram at @takeoffnotts. It's an over-18s night, and you'll need a student ID to get in. Last entry is at midnight, so if you're coming later in the evening, keep that in mind.
Every week we pick π the 5 best π things to do in Nottingham and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
