English experimental rock band Spiritualized play The Albert Hall in Nottingham on their 'Everything Was Beautiful' tour.
Spiritualized play The Albert Hall on Tuesday 8 December, as part of their tour for the new album Everything Was Beautiful. It's a single-act bill, so it's just them on stage for the night.
If you're not familiar with them, Spiritualized are an English experimental rock band formed in 1990 in Rugby by Jason Pierce, who's remained the only constant member throughout the group's history. Their first release that same year was a space rock cover that followed the split of Spacemen 3. Since then, they've become known for a distinctive blend of orchestral arrangements and ambient soundscapes, and for live shows that combine ethereal vocals with layered instrumentation, delivering contemplative, progressive and alternative rock.
This Nottingham date is one of the stops on their tour in support of Everything Was Beautiful, so you'll hear the new material alongside the older songs they're known for. The show is 14+, with under-16s to be accompanied by an adult.
