Slick City Slides - Adults Night

Slick City Action Park is hosting an adults-only night on Friday 6 November, from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. It's exactly what it sounds like: the park cleared of kids for a couple of hours, leaving the slides to the grown-ups. If you've ever walked past the place and wondered what it'd be like to go down those slides without a swarm of school-age children around you, this is your window.

The park is over at Clifton Blvd, Redfield Rd, Nottingham NG7 2UJ, and the whole thing is built around the slides themselves. The night is billed as a chance to have some fun 'being big kids on the slides', which is a fair summary of the whole thing. It's not a party with a DJ or a themed event; the main feature is just the slides, and the adults-only part means you've got the run of them without the usual family-day crowd. If you've spent your adult life avoiding the sort of place that's usually packed with primary school trips, this is the version you'll actually want to do.

It's a two-hour slot, so you've got plenty of time to work your way through the slides and back again. If you're going with a group, it's easy enough to make a night of it, starting with the slides and then heading out for a drink afterwards. The park is out in Clifton, so it's a bit of a trek from the city centre, but that's part of the draw if you're coming from the south of the city.

Tickets are £22.95 plus a £1 booking fee, and the session runs from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Friday 6 November at Slick City Action Park, Clifton Blvd, Redfield Rd, Nottingham NG7 2UJ.
