Halloween warehouse rave with house, garage and hip hop music and dark, freaky fancy dress at The Brickworks, for over-18s.
Shapes are taking over The Brickworks on Saturday 31 October for a Halloween warehouse rave. It's a proper late one, running from 10:00pm through to 4:00am, so you'll be dancing well into the early hours of Sunday morning.
The music is built around house, garage and hip hop, and the organisers say dark, freaky fancy dress is more than encouraged, so it's a good excuse to actually put some effort into a costume. The night is strictly over-18s, and the pre-sale has already sold out, so if you're planning on going, it's worth sorting your tickets sooner rather than later.
The Brickworks itself is a bit of a rarity in the city: a former warehouse basement on Newark Street in Sneinton that's hosted some of the world's finest electronic artists over the years. It's a truly individual space, and the organisers point out that opportunities to experience it are few and far between. For Halloween, they say there's nothing else like it.
