Rock City Floor

Rock City Floor is on at Rock City on Friday 1 January 2027. It's a club night, so rather than a single act on stage, the focus is on the dancefloor. The night is hosted in the main room of Rock City, the venue's largest space, which is why it's billed as the Floor.

Because it's New Year's Day, the timing is a bit different from your usual night out. Doors open at 00:00, right as the calendar flips over, so it's one of those nights that starts the moment the celebrations shift from the pub or the house party to the club. If you're planning to head straight there from your New Year's Eve plans, that's when it kicks off.

The venue is Rock City, at 8 Talbot Street, Nottingham NG1 5GG. It's a well-known spot in the city centre, easy enough to find if you're already in town. The night is simply called Rock City Floor, and as a club night, the whole thing is built around the dancefloor rather than a seated audience or a specific line-up of bands.

So, if you're looking for something to do on New Year's Day, this is one of the options on the go. Doors open at midnight on Friday 1 January 2027 at Rock City, 8 Talbot Street, Nottingham NG1 5GG.
