Monthly Friday cocktail masterclass on Cuba's cocktail heritage, with a Strawberry Daiquiri, tips from the mixologist, a two-course set meal and party games.
Revolución de Cuba in Nottingham runs a cocktail masterclass and two-course meal for two on the first and third Friday of the month at 6pm, subject to availability. It's a full evening out rather than a quick drink, and the whole thing is built around Cuba's cocktail heritage — the home of the Mojito, Daiquiri and Cuba Libre, drinks whose recipes were kept closely guarded and passed down through generations.
An in-house expert mixologist, supported by the venue's Cantineros, welcomes you with a Strawberry Daiquiri before sharing the tricks of the trade. From there, you'll shake, muddle and stir your way through the session, making the drinks yourself rather than just watching. The venue describes the atmosphere as a Latin fiesta, complete with leis, maracas and a couple of flames, and they claim to have delivered over a million sessions across their sites.

The class is rounded off with a two-course set meal and party games, so you've got the food and the drinks in one go. Boozeless options are available if you're not drinking. A minimum number of people is required per booking, and the experience is for over-18s only. It's £82 per pair, with the sessions running on the first and third Friday of the month at 6pm.
