Beginner-friendly, artist-led paint and sip session 'Snowy Japan' at The Loxley, with all painting materials provided.
Paintvine are bringing their paint and sip sessions to The Loxley on Saturday 14 November, with this one centred on Snowy Japan. It runs from 12 pm to 2 pm, so it's a midday thing rather than a night out.
If you've never done one, the format is pretty straightforward: you spend the session painting a scene of Japan in the snow, with an artist leading the way. They describe the sessions as beginner-friendly, and they're aimed at both complete beginners and experienced painters, so you don't need to have picked up a brush before to get stuck in. The instruction is step-by-step, which takes the guesswork out of it.
Everything you need is provided on the day. That means acrylic paints, brushes, an apron to keep your clothes clean, and a stretched canvas to work on. They also take photos throughout the session and share them on social media, and you take the finished artwork home with you when you're done.

The one at The Loxley is held in a licensed venue, so you can buy food and drink from the bar while you paint.
