Paint and Sip Flamingo

Art Lounge are hosting a paint and sip flamingo session at The Botanist West Bridgford on Thursday 21 January 2027, from 7 pm to 9 pm. It's a two-hour slot, and the whole thing is built around one painting: a flamingo. The session is led by Art Lounge, who guide you through the process step by step, so you'll end the evening with your own finished piece to take home.

One of the best bits is that you don't need to bring a thing. All the materials — brushes, paint, canvas and everything else you'll need — are provided on the night. If you've never picked up a paintbrush before, that's fine; the whole point is that you're guided through it, so you're not just staring at a blank canvas wondering where to start. It's as much about the process as it is about the final result.

And it's a 'paint and sip' for a reason. While you're working on your flamingo, drinks are available at the bar, so you can keep a glass going as you go. It's a relaxed way to spend a Thursday evening in West Bridgford, and since it's a group session, it works just as well as a night out with friends as it does if you're coming along on your own. You'll leave with something you actually made, and you won't have to worry about the cleanup afterwards.

The session runs from 7 pm to 9 pm at The Botanist West Bridgford, 40 Bridgford Road, West Bridgford NG2 6AP, and tickets are £25.
