Free informal padel and singing session led by Holly with Under the Bridge Project, for Rushcliffe residents aged 18 and over.
Under the Bridge Project are running a padel and singing session at Barrio Padel on Tuesday 27 October, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. It's led by Holly, who pairs padel with singing, so you'll be doing both in one evening rather than one after the other.
Under the Bridge is a men's group that looks at the positive impact of spending time around blue spaces and staying active on mental health and wellbeing. Their programme goes beyond padel, too, with swimming, yoga and social sessions. This particular session is part of the Rushcliffe Social Prescribing Hub's friendship sessions, which run across the borough to support health, wellbeing and social connections.
The format is intentionally informal: no previous padel experience is needed, so you don't have to be a pro to get involved. There are a few conditions to keep in mind, though. The session is open exclusively to Rushcliffe residents aged 18 and over who are registered with a Rushcliffe GP, and bookings are limited to one per person.
