Weekly Saturday country music night with live music, dancing and American BBQ at Red Dog Saloon in the Lace Market.
Nashville Nights is back at Red Dog Saloon on Saturday 24 October, one of the many Saturday nights they run throughout the year. It's a country music night in the Lace Market, with live music, dancing, and American BBQ on the go. The band plays in a small-capacity room where they're close to the floor, and the bill changes every week, so the setlist shifts from one Saturday to the next.
The music works through country classics and countrified rock and pop, drawing on the likes of Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, Kenny Rodgers and Luke Combs. It's a broad run of names, so you'll hear the older standards alongside more recent country hits. The night is built around that mix, with the band playing through the set and the floor open for dancing.
Alongside the music, there's American BBQ and a wide selection of bourbon and tequila. Red Dog Saloon has been serving its BBQ for 14 years, using an award-winning smoker imported from Oklahoma that the meat sits over for up to three days, fired with traditional American woods. The food is a big part of the evening, meant to sit alongside the music and the drinks.
